The "Nominees" are:
- Jennifer Zeppelin from KTUL Channel 8. She became Chief Meteorologist at KTUL in September, and the first female Chief of all-time Tulsa TV history.
- Andrew Kozak from KTUL Channel 8. He left Fox 23 in the summer for KTUL as a Freelance Meteorologist. He is now the morning weather guy for Good Morning Oklahoma and Good Day Tulsa on channel 8.
- Breanne Palmerini from KJRH Channel 2. This year Breanne was promoted to the 2NEWS Weekend Morning Anchor, replacing Erin Christy.
- Lacie Lowry from KOTV Channel 6. A reporter in Tulsa since 2010, Lacie was promoted to the Weekend evening anchor chair, replacing Tara Vreeland.

ReplyDelete2012 was a big year for the whole Tulsa market. Lacie and Breanne received big pushes, and Lacie produced some pretty good stories this year. Kozak transitioned a lot in about a 6-month time frame. Zeppelin became Tulsa's first female Chief Meteorologist.
DeleteIn that case, it wouldn't be the weather team at channel 6. Wow, talk about blowing a forecast.
